For one night only Jack Campey Productions present their debut concert, A Night On Broadway, at The Courtyard.

Featuring a hand-picked 30-plus orchestra and soloists, this special charity concert will celebrate Broadway's finest ever composers, lyricists and their songs, taking the audience on a musical journey from the Golden Age of Broadway, right to the very present. Songs from timeless shows such as West Side Story, The King and I, Guys and Dolls, Wicked, Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera and more, all presented live on stage in their original Broadway orchestrations and arrangements.

The concert is presented by Jack Campey, who graduated from the University of Exeter in 2014, where he was heavily involved with music as he pursued his life-long passion for music and the performing arts.

Having graduated, Jack is continuing his ambition of becoming an orchestrator and conductor for Broadway and the silver screen. He regularly arranges pieces for local ensembles as well as writing a blog on the talent of Broadway arrangers. He continues to be in demand as an instrumentalist and has enjoyed opportunities to play with several orchestras, including The Film Orchestra, Worcester Symphony Orchestra, EMG Symphony Orchestra and the Hereford String Orchestra. In addition he has been a pit musician for local amateur dramatic societies for the last few years.

Jack has chosen to donate all of the profits from A Night On Broadway to St. Michael’s Hospice in memory of his father Andrew Campey, who was cared for so brilliantly by the hospice and sadly passed away in September 2015.

A Night on Broadway will be at The Courtyard on Saturday, September 3 at 7.30pm. To book, call the box office on 01432 340555 or visit courtyard.org.uk
