THE Shop at Bromsberrow celebrated national chocolate week by holding a themed day for its customers, including a cupcake decorating competition for local children. Hot chocolate served with marshmallows and sprinkles accompanied by a huge selection of home baked cakes had customers queuing for extra helpings. Organiser Paggie Jones said, “This was a first for the shop, but has proved to be great fun and certainly brought the villagers from this parish and the surrounding areas together and this is exactly what we hoped to achieve. The community shop represents a friendly meeting place, a great space for families to sit in unhurried comfort to chat and enjoy first class refreshment for which the shop is well known." Events manager James Dowdall remarked that everyone had worked very hard to ensure that the chocolate day was successful and he thanked community shop volunteers and all customers for their loyal support.
