THINGS will be buzzing at the Llangarron h.Art Christmas bazaar this year in an effort to support local charity Bees for Development.

On Saturday and Sunday December 6 and 7 art lovers can enjoy browsing and shopping at the h.Art Christmas bazaar in Llangarron. This will be the fourth annual event in the village and will feature a wide range of beautiful and unique gifts hand-crafted by local artists, including textiles by Helen Crawford, digital images by Ian Gorton, glass by Diana Philipson and jewellery by Ali Tregaskes plus a chance to try your hand at glazing a personal pot for Christmas, courtesy of Paint on Me.

This year h.Art in Llangarron is supporting Bees for Development, a local charity that supports people to gain economic independence through beekeeping, marketing honey and using the beeswax. Further information about Bees for Development will be available and beeswax candles, local honey and other bee-associated items will be on sale.

Bees for Development founder Dr Nicola Bradbear said, “We are very grateful to have the h.Art volunteers promoting our work at such a prestigious local event. It will really help raise our profile and some funds at the same time.”

h.Art Christmas Bazaar in Llangarron will take place on Saturday December 6 from 10am – 4pm and Sunday between noon and 4pm at the newly refurbished Garron Centre (HR9 6NJ). Entry is free and there is disabled access. A community café will also be selling light lunches, homemade cakes and freshly brewed coffee and tea.
