Five local artists are embarking on a new initiative to bring their products to Ledbury High Street.
Prompted by the national trend for pop-up shops, the artists whose work is usually only to be found for a few days at a time at craft fairs and exhibitions, are opening a pop-up in The Homend Shopping Mall, in The Homend.
Three individual styles of contemporary jewellery, 3D wirework, textile art, stitched paper lampshades and woven willow baskets will be displayed in the gallery-style shop which opens on Tuesday, March 17.
The artists, from across Herefordshire and Worcestershire, include Jenny Pearce from Canon Frome, Ali Tregaskes from Ross, Sarah Walker from Malvern, Jo Dewar from Lower Broadheath and Jocelyn Perry from Bewdley.
The new shop, called Designer Makers at the Mall, will be located at Unit 7, The Homend Shopping Mall, and it will be open Tuesdays to Saturdays, from 10am to 4.30pm.
