POLICE have released CCTV images of a man they wish to speak to in connection with a sexual assault in Hereford.

The assault happened at around midnight on Saturday February 21 or early on Sunday February 22.

The female victim was led from the Kerry pub into an alleyway in between the YMCA and Stan James Bookmakers, where a man attempted to pull her leggings down.

She called for help and two passers by came to assist her, before the offender made off.

Police are keen to speak to the man pictured. He is described as a white man, between 20 and 30 years old, around 5”10 to 5”11, of proportionate to stocky build, clean shaved with brown hair which was short at the sides and slightly longer on top.

He was wearing a dark coloured parka jacket with fur around the hood, light coloured jeans and trainers, which were possibly Adidas.

Anyone who recognises the man or who has any information about the assault should call police on 101 quoting incident number 4 of 22nd February.

  • In some of the images, the man’s jacket appears blue, however it is a darker colour.
