AN all-day skittles fundraising event will take place on Saturday August 1, from 10am to 6pm at the Royal British Legion Hall, with all proceeds going towards the Ledbury Town Football Club's fighting fund.
Eight teams of four players will be competing in the tournament, with four veteran LTFC teams playing against four teams of newer players. All players will have sponsorship forms.
An event spokesman said: "The event will also feature a prize draw to be performed at 6pm after the final skittles game has taken place, with tickets being available to purchase on the day or from books which are currently being circulated around Ledbury.
"First prize in the draw is a set of four VIP tickets for the British Touring Car Championships to be held at Snetterton in Norfolk on the weekend of August 8 and August 9."
The spokesman added: "This is a community event, open to all - you do not have to be connected to Ledbury Town FC or Ledbury Legion in any way in order to attend. A bar with food will also be available on the day.
Please come along to cheer on the players and try your luck on the raffle in what promises to be a fantastic day of skittles in aid of Ledbury Town Football Club."
