A ROSS-on-Wye town councillor is cycling 250 miles this week to visit all 42 St Mary's churches in the county.
Chris Bartrum set off from St Mary's Church in Ross on Monday and is expected to finish this Saturday.
There are 42 St Mary’s churches, and a cathedral, in the county and Cllr Bartrum is cycling to them all to raise funds for The Friends of St Mary’s in Ross.
Although an atheist, he is a long-term supporter of the charity which raises funds to maintain the fabric of the Ross church and its iconic spire.
