A GAMES console won by a car dealership has been donated to Hereford County Hospital Children’s Ward.
Fownhope Mitsubishi in Hereford donated the Xbox One games console after winning it in a nationwide parts competition ran by the dealership.
Rather than keeping it the team it was decided to gift the console to the hospital for young patients to enjoy.
Director at Fownhope Mitsubishi, Sam Peachey and Parts Manager, Helen Taylor, visited the hospital recently and presented the console to Stacy Edwards, Play Specialist in the children’s ward.
Mr Peachey said: “Going to hospital as a child can be a very scary experience so giving the Xbox One to the children’s ward is the perfect way to take their mind off things.
"We are grateful to hear that it will be well used by patients at the hospital.”
