THE summer holidays started with some excitement for one St Mary's pupil as he looked out the window into his back garden.
Fourteen year old George Mair, from near Checkley in Herefordshire, spied this Fallow buck on the lawn helping itself to the leaves from one of the Ash trees.
Fortunately, at the time George was equipped with his smartphone and was able to capture these images.
George said "I couldn't believe how big the deer was. I was just lucky that I had my iPhone with me and that I could get the photos before it ran away".
