A WARNING has been issued to dog owners as walkers at a Herefordshire beauty spot are fearing for their safety.
Dog walkers using Bromyard Downs, northeast of the town, have been told to make sure their pets are under control.
If owners can't do that. the dog should be on a lead.
The Bromyard Downs Commons Association, which manages the 114-hectare Herefordshire Council common land, said there had been "too many incidents" over the last week of out-of-control dogs.

The association said it heard people had been knocked down or frightened of being bitten.
"Enjoy your walk but remember not everyone wants to meet your dog," it warned people.
The Government website said a dog is considered dangerously out of control if it injures someone or makes them worried that it might injure them.

Anyone whose dog is out of control can get an unlimited fine or be sent to prison for up to six months, or both.
If an owner lets their dog injure someone, they can be sent to prison for up to five years or fined, or both.
If an owner allows their dog to kill someone, they can be sent to prison for up to 14 years or get an unlimited fine, or both.
