NEW tenants are wanted at a Herefordshire town pub after its closure.
The Prince of Wales in Ross-on-Wye is currently closed and is on the market with agents Sidney Philips (leasehold) for £10,000 plus annual rent.
The agents said that the pub holds a "prominent corner site", with parts of the building dating to the Georgian period, while more modern extensions have been added to the rear, including single-storey flat-rood sections.
It offers an open-plan general bar, lounge, and games facility, with fully-equipped bar servery, open fireplace, and seating for up to 80 customers and standing space for more.
It also has a games area with pool table and darts throw, and a lounge bar and restaurant or function room with its own fully-equipped bar servery, carvery servery, and seating for around 70 diners.

The agents said the pub offers a "good size" catering kitchen, but that there is little kitchen equipment, and it is in need of refurbishment. It also has a wash-up and prep room and a freezer room with a walk-in cold room.
In the basement is a cellar providing a main beer cellar and additional storage.
There is also owners' accommodation on the first floor offering three bedrooms, a double size kitchen, and bathroom, separate toilet, and lounge.
The pub had previously undergone a £100,000 refurbishment, reopening in March 2022, before closing again.
It was then advertised for sale (freehold) with an asking price of £325,000 later in 2023.
