OVER the bank holiday weekend Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews were called to several incidents around the county involving vehicle fires.
On Friday, March 29, a crew from Kington Fire Station were called at 3.38pm after a vehicle had been on fire in Crabtree Road in Kington.
The crew were called after a small fire involving jump-starting leads had started but the fire had been extinguished before the arrival of the fire service.

Two lots of Fire and Rescue crews were called from Kingsland and Leominster Fire Stations at 3.43pm on Saturday, March 30, to a fire in Shobdon, after the diesel heater unit in a motorhome had been smoking.
This was then disconnected by the fire service after using a thermal imaging camera to check for hot spots.
A fire and rescue service crew from Hereford Fire Station were called at 5.14pm on Monday, April 1, after reports of a small vehicle on fire in Ecroyd Park, Credenhill.
A small fire in a van had been extinguished before the arrival of the fire and rescue service and the incident was closed.
