AN ATTACKER has been sentenced for a Hereford assault on a girl under the age of 18.
Corey Macklin-Evans, of Green Ash Close, Hereford, entered a guilty plea to one count of assault by beating when he appeared at Hereford Magistrates' Court in February.
The court heard from prosecutor Lauren Millichip that the 27-year-old assaulted a girl under the age of 18 by beating.
Because she is a child, the victim cannot be named for legal reasons and a court order protecting her identity is in place.
Macklin-Evans committed the offence against the girl on May 6 last year, and he has now been sentenced by magistrates.

At a hearing in March, Macklin-Evans was handed a community order, which will require him to attend 10 days of rehabilitation activity and probation appointments.
He was also told to pay the victim £50 in compensation, and fined a further £50.
He must pay prosecution costs of £135 and a victim surcharge of £114.
