FOUR farmers from Herefordshire who host workshops for other local farmers have been nicknamed "the boy band".
Adam Lewis, Rob Beaumont, Jack Hopkins and Martin Carr are a team of monitor farmers, who call themselves a "boy band" because, unusually, there are four of them working at the Hereford Monitor Farm rather than just one.

The Hereford Monitor Farm is part of the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB). It brings together local like-minded farmers who wish to improve their businesses by exchanging information and tips around a network of host farms.
The "boy band" have been hosting workshops in Herefordshire to give local farmers food for thought on drilling and cultivation.
Dr Alex Ansell, their AHDB knowledge exchange manager, said: "AHDB Monitor Farms bring together farmers who wish to improve businesses by sharing performance information and best practices around a nationwide network of host farms. The Monitor Farm tenure lasts for three years. Farmers are given access to the latest research, enabling them to try out innovative practices."
