BROMYARD romped to victory in their opening Midlands Four West (North) encounter with an eight-try demolition of their near neighbours.
Gareth Griffiths opened the scoring and went over for a second try before half-time, by which stage Tom Morris and Ross Williams had also scored tries.
In the second half, Bromyard went over for four more tries, including a brace for John Parker, a second for Morris and a debut try for Sam Sayce.
Chris Rowberry added the successful kicks while Tenbury's points came from three Will Gough penalties.
A below-strength Greyhound side were beaten 23-14 at Bishops Castle.
The city side got away to a good start with a try and conversion by Matthew Swain but the hosts hit back to lead 15-7 at the break.
Drayton extended their lead before Elliott Phillips powered through for a try a minute from time. Matt Eden added the conversion.
Ledbury's Midlands Three West (South) campaign opened with a 29-10 defeat at Pershore.
But it was a happy opening day for Ross in Gloucester 2.
The south Herefordshire side kicked off their campaign with a 26-16 home win over Broad Plain.
Tries by Luke Clarke (2), Fred Glass and Tom Scotcher helped Hereford Cathedral School to a first win in three attempts against Plymouth College.
Skipper Olly Gaston added three conversions and a penalty in a 29-10 success.
