THERE was plenty of exciting in this week's Hereford Snooker League programme.

Simon Wilton got the Miller Boys off to a winning start with a brilliant 22 clearance to snatch victory over Police A's Pete Marks.

The final frame was a tense affair, Ian Cooper coming back from 25 points behind against John Jukes, with an outstanding shot on the black to claim victory and keep his team at the Top of Division 1.

Shed Loads move up to joint second with a 5-0 whitewash over the Broms Boys.

Dave Hantschar came back from a huge deficit, and then with some snooker luck, he potted the blue and had the winning post in sight.

It was then his opponent Scott Phillips' turn for some good fortune.

He potted the pink, then missed the initial shot on the black, but it doubled back and rolled down the pocket for victory.

The final frame was another black-ball thriller with Jaime Cullen edging a victory over Rob Black with a well constructed break of 23.

Legionares put in a solid performance to beat the Military Club 4-1, with young Jed Mann showing his ever improving snooker skills with an outstanding break of 46 to claim the only victory for the visiting side.

P Shed Y stay at the top of Division 2 despite losing a closely contested match with club Rivals X-Men.

NoWhereMen moved up the table with a destructive 4-1 win over the 7Wilders.
