WESTFIELDS chief executive Andy Morris says it will be an incredible to see 2,000 fans packed into allpay.park for next month's derby clash against Hereford.

It has been confirmed that the eagerly-anticipated Midland Football League Premier Division clash On August Bank Holiday Monday will be all ticket.

The official capacity is 1,500, but Morris is confident that up to 2,000 will be able to fit in.

"The official capacity is 1,500 but it has been seen that we have additional space that can accommodate another 400 to 500 with the extra space we have made, so we can comfortably get 2,000 in," said Morris.

"We have three turnstiles now that we can use.

"Obviously car parking is an issue but Hereford fans can use their usual car parking spaces when they watch a match at Edgar Street because we're only 500 yards apart.

"We have got to have 20 stewards to look after the ground, spectators and staff and will stand on the entrances.

"We will bring in an extra gateman and extra toilet facilities .

"While we have got the E certificate for the Southern League South & West, we want to make sure that everyone has enough facilities so we will bring in extra portaloos and extra catering."

Morris added that the club took advice with the relevant authorities before deciding to make it all ticket.

"David Borthwick, one of our committee members, is a police officer and has been delegated to do the task and has done a fantastic job investigating it and talking to to the police, the fire authorities and the council because we were concerned about health and safety," said Morris.

"We want to do everything correctly here at Westfields."

Tickets, priced at £7 for adults and £5 concessions will be sold at Edgar Street on match days as well as allpay.park.

Westfields have enjoyed a good pre-season so far and beat higher-graded Slimbridge 5-3 on Tuesday night to and retain the HFA Senior Invitation Cup.

T"hey are in the Southern League South & West and got a great result in pre-season against Forest Green, so have come here full of enthusiasm and probably felt they were going to win the game at one stage," said Morris.

"To win the Herefordshire County Senior Invitation trophy is fantastic.

"I think that's the fourth time we have won it now and it means a lot to the club."

Slimbridge opened the scoring after only three minutes thanks to Paul Fahy before Sam Lawson doubled the advantage.

But Westfields levelled the game by half-time thanks to Jamie Cuss and a fantastic strike from Zac Sirrell.

Jamie Martin put Slimbridge back in front eight minutes after the break but back came Westfields.

Marcus Palmer made it 3-3 with 20 minutes to go before Craig Jones fired in a free-kick two minutes later.

Tom Boyle then sealed the win with five minutes to go.
