HEREFORD have added left-back Lewis Hudson to their squad as they look to bounce back from two consecutive defeats.

The Bulls signed right sided wing back Camron McWilliams and Kidderminster Harriers loanee striker Kieran Phillips ahead of a 3-0 defeat to South Shields on Tuesday night.

Hereford boss Paul Caddis says that former Rushall Olympic defender Hudson will be available for Saturday’s game at home to Blyth Spartans.

“We tried to get it done for today (against South Shields), but moving forward we should have some better options,” said Caddis.

“He was on a non-contract and the seven days is up on Friday. We asked the parent club to waiver it because they don’t have a game, but that was a bit difficult.

“It’s a position I have looked for. Aaron Skinner has played the last two seasons at left-back, but I do like him at right-back.”

Tuesday night’s defeat came just days after a 2-0 loss at Darlington leaving the Bulls in eight position, but with many teams around them having played less games than Hereford.

With experienced players Jordan Lyden and Paul Downing currently out injured for around 10 days Caddis is looking to boost his squad further.

“We know what we need, but trying to get it is easier said than done,” added Caddis.

“We need another central midfielder and another central defender to help us there at times with injuries. Trying to get it is more difficult, finances play a part and the time of year. We’re looking and trying.”

Meanwhile, Adam Livingstone has asked to find another club in order to ‘get more games’.
